Damian van Dam is an artist and producer who lives in the in-between – between genres, between logic and emotion, and between past and future. His journey began early, playing in a band at just twelve years old. Over two decades, he toured extensively, shared stages with his musical heroes, played major festivals, and released acclaimed records within a tight-knit scene.

But after twenty intense years, it was time to close that chapter. What followed was a search – not just for a new sound, but for a new way of living. Suffering from chronic pain and burnout, Damian took a step back. He studied computer science, stopped drinking, hiked 3,000 kilometers across New Zealand, and found something he hadn’t felt in a long time: clarity.

Out of this experience came a new artistic vision. Today, Damian merges deep emotional storytelling with cinematic soundscapes, blending electronic elements, acoustic textures, and field recordings. His music doesn’t try to fit into a trend – it tries to make you feel something true.

As a producer, he releases music regularly through international labels like BMG Production Music. But his solo work is where the personal and the universal meet: pain, joy, resilience, and transformation – all wrapped in carefully crafted sound.
